In conclusion I’m giving this series a 78% for book one, a 87% for book two, a 92% for book three and the novella was like a 97% because it was all Warner. 1-16 of 271 results for 'shatter me series' RESULTS Shatter Me Series 6-Book Box Set: Shatter Me, Unravel Me, Ignite Me, Restore Me, Defy Me, Imagine Me by Tahereh Mafi 1,035 Paperback 590072.94 FREE delivery Wed, Oct 5 More Buying Choices 51.

The main character was attractive, but I felt like it was brought up all the time and it got to a point where it annoyed me.Īnyway it’s kind of hard for me to give this series a rating, but if you’re patient and enjoy character development it’s worth the read.(I know he went through a lot but come on man.) The first love interest was annoying as hell. The romance was good, but personally I like “subplot” romances. I just wish there was also more plot that wasn’t connected to the romance. The “big bad” was kind of one-dimensional.While the writing was good sometimes it was a little too flowery for my taste. Some characters were not as fleshed out as I would have liked.Basically it was hilarious, go read Carry On right now.) (Except Carry On because that was more of a love irregular polygon or like a love Congo line. The love triangle was annoying, but I almost always hate love triangles.A (we assume) straight guy and girl were actually just friends and their friendship was awesome (no one was secretly in love with anyone.).The main character and love interest (endgame love interest) actually spent time together and got to know each other. The back stories of the characters were well thought out and relevant to how they turned out.The moral ambiguity of the characters was really fascinating. The main characters felt like real people who had realistic flaws and fears. The main characters’ development was amazing. The style of writing was really original and just plain old good. The writing was really interesting and emotionally charged.I’m just going to write a list of pros and cons because I really don’t know how else to go about this: These books confuse me because I would get super into them and love them and then a page later I’m slamming my head against a wall. I’m so intrigued by this book series because half of its elements are amazing and fascinating and the other half are not.

Since I wasn’t able to actually discuss it in-depth I wanted to write a post that’s completely devoted to it. If you read my post “Rapid Fire” you know I briefly mentioned the Shatter Me book series.
